PERSONAL FILES
Wackiest prank in training camp:
We put blue dye in rookies’ gloves, shoes and helmets. It stays on them for a while.

Best QB I’ve faced:
Bret Favre or Peyton Manning. Probably Favre.

Best O-Lineman I’ve faced:
Matt Birk of the Minnesota Vikings.

Best defensive player I’ve played with:
John Randle when I was with Minnesota. Michael Strahan on the Giants. They’re both Hall of Famers.

Describe the biggest hit of your career:
In college I put a good hit on North Carolina State quarterback James Barnett. I broke through the line and got a good sack on him, it was the first hit I had where everyone just said, “Ooooooh…”

Closest friends in football:
The Giants defensive line hangs out a lot, we’re always hanging around and cracking jokes with each other.

Favorite foods:
Steak, soul food, Italian, Mexican …

Favorite movies:
“Harlem Nights,” “Life,” “Scarface.” I like comedies, anything funny, like “Coming to America.”

What’s in your iPod?
I like all types of music, I have like 8,000 songs in my iPod and just put it on shuffle and let it play. Right now, if I had to pick one CD I’d pick Young Jeezy.

Any superstitions?
No.

Best qualities for a person to have:
Honesty and a sense of humor.

Charitable endeavors:
I support the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation and several non-profits with other Giant players including The Santa Rosa Kids House with Lawrence Tynes and Bright Steps Forward with Sam Madison.
I also produce an annual block party in my childhood neighborhood of Lincoln Park in Pensacola, Fla.

My hero is:
My dad. He’s my biggest fan; he’s always been there for me. He made it to every game in college, home and away. He’s my support, I learned a lot from him growing up, as a man and as a person.
